Obituary	MRS. JEAN CUTHBERTSON Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Mrs. Jean Cuthbertson, 86, who died Wednesday at the Plummer Memorial Hospital, Dexter, after a few weeks of failing health. The Rev. Alice Hart of the People's Methodist Church at Newport officiated. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Sangerville. Bearers were Dennis Cleaves, Maurice Chabot, Gordon Richardson, all of Dexter, and Verner Anderson, Guilford. A native of Scotland, and a citizen of that country at the time of her death, she was born at Glasgow, March 5, 1875, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young. At the age of 18, she moved to St. Johns, Nfld., then later moved to the Rockland area where the greater part of her married life was spent. She lived with a daughter, Mrs. Percy Bates, of Sangerville before coming to Dexter 15 years ago to make her home with another daughter, Mrs. Guy Clark. She was the mother of nine children, and the others of the eight who survive are Ralph Cuthbertson of Dexter, George of Sangerville, Robert of Rockland, Fred of Cooper's Mills, Mrs. Winfield Havener of Waldoboro, Mrs. Raymond Jackson of Hollywood, Fla.; a stepson, Walter Cuthbertson, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kathleen Lally, both of Winslow's Mills; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
