Obituary
Donald Webber Donald Webber, 35, died Saturday morning, September 16, following a long illness and funeral services were held from the home on Mill street Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Frederick L. Niles of Corinna and the Rev Walter R. Towle officiating. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery and the bearers were Hartson Webber, Alexander Thompson, George Safford and Robert Shaw. There were many beautiful flowers, tokens of affection and respect for one who was held in highest esteem in the community. Mr. Webber was born in Dexter, March 13, 1909 and lived his whole lifetime here. He was graduated from N. H. Fay High school in the class of 1927 after which he was employed in the shipping department at the office of the Amos Abbott Company for two years. He then entered the employ of the Dumbarton Woolen Mill and remained there until obliged to give up work because of ill health. He was a member of the official, board of the Methodist church and was always active in the interests of the church. Besides his mother Carolyn I. Webber he leaves several cousins, uncles and aunts.
