Obituary	MRS. HAZEL R. WHITMORE Mrs. Hazel R. Whitmore, 67, wife of the late Raymond V. Whitmore, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. She was born in Dexter, March 4, 1894. She was graduated from Dexter High School in the class of 1912. She attended Boston University and Simmons College. Mrs. Whitmore taught at Dexter High School for nearly 30 years and was head of the Commercial Department for 25 years. She was a past president of the Penobscot Teachers' Association, Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mildred M. Hamilton of Dexter; her daughter, Mrs. Charles F. Brewster of Bangor and two grandchildren, Betsy and Whitmore Brewster of Bangor. Private services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. E. King Hempel of the First Universalist Church officiating. Bearers were: K. Stanford Blake, Harold Blaisdell, Donald D. Champeon, Elwin L. Crosby, George Safford and Ralph Sampson. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
