Obituary	MISS BERTHA L. FERNALD Miss Bertha L. Fernald, 76, a native of Garland, died suddenly Tuesday at a Marlboro, Mass., hospital. Funeral services will be held later at the family lot in the East Corinth cemetery. She was born at Garland June 8, 1885, daughter of Augustus Abbie (Straw) Fernald. She is survived by three sisters, Miss Mabel Fernald of Marlboro, Mass., Mrs. Ruth Johnson and Mrs. Gladys Lee, both of Dexter; a brother, Harold Fernald of Garland; nieces and nephews.
