Obituary	HAROLD A.PACKARD Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 22, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Harold A. Packard, 65, of Garland, who died Saturday at the Plummer Memorial Hospital at Dexter following a long illness. The Rev. Gordon F. Parlin, minister of the Methodist Church, officiated. Bearers were: Sidney Nightengale, Robert Lindsay, both of Garland, Shirley Colbath of Dexter and Lemont Pullen of Kenduskeag. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. He was born at Garland, May 17, 1896, son of Daniel B. and Bessie (Amazeen) Packard. Survivors are his mother of Garland; two brothers, Vernon B. of Garland, Archie E. of Lynnfield, Mass., two daughters, Mrs. Wyman Flagg, Dexter, Mrs. June Selent, Waltham, Mass., two sons, Albert B. of Kenduskeag and Harold F. Melrose, Mass., six grandchildren; four great - grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
