Obituary
ARTHUR J. NOLET Funeral services were held Saturday morning, June 24, at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Arthur J. Nolet, 58, who died suddenly Wednesday night at the Plummer Hospital. The Rev. Napoleon Madore officiated. Bearers were four nephews, Philip Gilbert of Saxonville, Mass., Forest O'Brien of Jackman, Roland I. Gilbert of Dexter and Norman Pease of Bingham. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born at St. Maglorie, Canada, June 20, 1903, son of Joseph and Emily (Fogg) Nolet. He came to Dexter in 1942 and was employed by the Fayscott-Landis Machine Corp. for 17 years, retiring a few years ago due to ill health. His wife was the late Clemence (Landry) Nolet. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Cecile Jaskalanian of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Dorothy Massak of Fitchburg, Mass., three sons, Arthur, Jr., 17, of Dexter, Roger, 14, and Larry, 9, at Good Will School, Hinckley; three sisters, Mrs. Adele Newton and Mrs. Georgia Stewart, both of Jackman, Mrs. George LaBonte of Rumford; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
