Obituary	MRS. MAUDE E. ROSS Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, July 19, at Augusta for Mrs. Maude Elizabeth Ross, 89, who died Monday evening at her residence in that city. A former resident of Dexter, her husband, the late Dean Ross was superintendent of schools here for many years. The Rev. Douglas H. Robbins, pastor of the Winthrop Street Universalist Church at Augusta officiated. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, Fairfield. She was born, June 2, 1872, at Mercer, daughter of David and Angeline (Hersom) Hussey. A member of the Gardiner Universalist Church and Wassookeag Chapt., Eastern Star of Dexter, she had resided at Guilford and Portland. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ferne Weymouth of Augusta; four nieces and two nephews.
