FRANK L. CROCKETT Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 29, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Frank Lewis Crockett, 82, husband of Edith (Davis) Crockett, who died early Saturday morning at his Garland residence after a long period of failing health. Frederick Marsh, lay preacher of Corinna, officiated. Burial was in Martinsville Cemetery, St. George. He was born at Garland, April 29, 1879, son of Thomas and Christino (McComb) Crockett. He was educated in the Garland schools, and served his apprenticeship as a machinist at the Fay and Scott Machine Shop, Dexter. Later, he was employed by the Whitin Machine Company at Whitinsville, Mass., and held a responsible position there developing and improving machinery before retiring in 1941. Surviving are his widow; four daughters by a former wife, the late Rachel Cole Crockett, Mrs. Marion Marx of New York City, Mrs. Ruth Stanley of Franklin, N. H.. Mrs. Christina Stanley and Mrs. Katherine Morris, both of Tenants Harbor; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Crockett of East Douglas, Mass., several nieces and nephews.
