PAUL V. DYER A Requiem High Mass was celebrated Monday morning, Jan. 30, at St. Anne's Catholic Church by the Rev. J. P. Sevigny for Paul (Ben) V. Dyer, 63, husband of Mary (Clukey) Dyer, who died Friday at the Togus Veterans Hospital. The American Legion Post attended in a body and bearers were veterans of World War I, Joseph Chevery, Thomas Ambrose, Archie Burrill, Arthur Ambrose, Delphis Higgins and Reginald Gilbert. Main st. stores in Dexter were closed during the funeral. Burial will take place this spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Mr. Dyer was born at Dexter, June 1, 1897, son of John and Cora (Pooler) Dyer. A veteran of World War I, he saw service in France, and previously on the Texas border. He was a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post, American Legion and St. Anne's Catholic Church. Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Page of South Portland, Mrs. Lorraine Reichert and Miss Shirley Dyer, both of New Rochelle, N. Y., three brothers, Adolph, Evarist and Lloyd Dyer, all of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Fitzgerald and Mrs. Mary Sterling, both of Westbrook; six grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
