Obituary	ALBERT W. KEYTE 1862 - 1941 Albert W. Keyte was born in Broadway, Worcestershire, England, and died in Dexter, Maine, on June 7, 1941, at the age of seventy-nine years. Mr. Keyte crossed the Atlantic when he was about nineteen years of age, and after home time spent in New Brunswick, having married Annie Carty, he came with his young wife to Dexter, where he made his home for about fifty years. They lived for a number of years in the two story house at the corner of Pleasant and Cross Streets and he finally bought the house. Later he bought the house known as the William Abbott house situated just south of his home. The Abbott house was removed and Mr. Keyte built himself a new house on the site which thereafter became the Keyte home. Soon after coming to Dexter Mr. Keyte engaged in the trucking business, to which he later added a retail busines in coal and wood which proved highly successful. Mr. Keyte was one of Dexter's highly respected and valued business men, honest and upright. He was a good neighbor.
