Obituary	MRS. A. L. PHIPPS Word was received by relatives here of the death of Mrs. A. L. Phipps, 88, the former Nellie Rand of Ripley, at Vancouver, B. C., on Dec. 8 following a short illness. Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at Richmond Hill, Canada, her former home. She was born at Ripley, Aug. 20, 1872, the daughter of George and Fidelia Rand. A member of the Class of 1897 of Dexter High School, Mrs. Phipps taught school in towns nearby for a number of years prior to her marriage. Her twin sister, Annabelle Rand Ramsdell of Lewiston died last September. She is survived by a married daughter, Anna, of Vancouver.
