MRS. THOMAS J. CLUKEY A High Mass of Requiem was celebrated Wednesday morning, Nov. 9, at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Mrs. Mildred Clukey, 67, widow of Thomas J. Clukey, who died Monday morning at the Cushman Nursing Home at Dexter after a long illness. The Rev. J. P. Sevigny officiated. Interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Bearers were Clifford Gilbert, Reginald Gilbert, Edmond Landry, Philip Gilbert, Dennis Landry and Vincent Ganeau, all of Dexter. Mrs. Clukey was born at Dexter, July 21, 1893, the daughter of John and Mary (Sturtevant) Ganeau. She was a lifelong resident of this town. She is survived by seven sons, Roland and Gerald of Sangerville, Vincent of Pittsfield, Raymond T. and Carroll of Dexter, David of Corinna and Eugene of England; eight daughters, Mrs. Veronica Champeon of Greenville, Mrs. Sylvia Clukey, Mrs. Evangeline Pullyard and Mrs. Gloria Foster of Dexter, Mrs. Regina Webb of Sangerville, Mrs. Dorilda Worcester of Corinna and Mrs. Barbara Gould of Ripley; 37 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
