WILLIAM H. SCHUMMRICK Funeral services were held Oct. 10 at the Cyrus E. Lewis and Son Funeral Home for William H. Schummrick, husband of Mrs. Grace Waldron Schummrick of Grassy Hill Road, Orange, Conn., and a former well known and long-time resident of Derby, who died suddenly on Friday. Mr. Schummrick was a retired teller of the Birmingham National Bank and was an active member, past master and treasurer and trustee of King Hiram Lodge, A F & A M. He is also survived by a son, William Schummrick, and daughter, Priscilla Schummrick. He was the son-in-law of the late Attorney Lafayette B. Waldron and Gertrude Waldron of Dexter. The services were conducted by the Rev. C. Nelson Burn, pastor of the Orange Congregational Church. In attendance were delegations from King Hiram Lodge and the Birmingham National Bank. On Sunday night, 30 members of King Hiram Lodge assembled at the funeral home and conducted ritualistic services. Interment took place in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton, where the Rev. Mr. Burn read the committal prayers.
