Obituary	MRS. CHARLES E. STONE Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Mrs. Alice E. Stone, 78, widow of Charles E. Stone, who died Sunday morning at the Cushman Nursing Home after a long period of failing health. The Rev. E. King Hempel of the First Universalist Church officiated. Honorary bearers were: Nathan C. Bucknam Linwood F. Mower, Ernest C. Farrar, all of Dexter, and Harlan Wilkins of Ripley. Active bearers were: Ted A. Bryant, Harry W. Young, Charles M. Coy, Erwin P. Chandler, Clarence C. Haynes and Cyril A. Pooler, all of Dexter. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Dexter. Mrs. Stone was born at Dexter, Sept. 15, 1882, daughter of Herbert and Carrie (Field) Additon; and had spent most of her life in this town. She was a member of the First Universalist Church and of the Eastern Star Chapter at Morris, N. Y. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Audrey S. Lewis of Dexter; one brother, Phillip T. Additon of Ripley; and one niece, Mrs. Ethelyn Ramsay of Dexter.
