Obituary	LESLIE W. REES Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Baptist Church at Dexter for Leslie W. Rees, 79, husband of Myrtle (Broad) Rees of Ripley who died Saturday at the Plummer Hospital. The Rev. Lee Good, pastor of the Monticello church, officiated. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Hodgdon, July 7, 1881, son of William and Elizabeth (Libby) Rees. He is survived by his widow; two sons, William of Ripley and Harold of Sangerville; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Downing of Ripley, Mrs. Beulah Nelson of New York State, Mrs. Amy Rotell of Haverstraw, N. Y., Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Kennebunk, Mrs. Bernice Daly of Old Orchard, and Mrs. Corris Haskell of Dover-Foxcroft; four sisters, Mrs. Amy Kearney and Mrs. Delma Noble of Mars Hill, Mrs. Amber Tapley of Palmyra and Mrs. Ruth Cheney of Connecticut; three brothers, Lincoln and Vinal Rees of Mars Hill, Prentice of Florida; 19 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
