Obituary	JOSEPH J. CLUKEY A Requiem High Mass was sung at St. Anne's Catholic Church this morning, Thursday at nine o'clock for Joseph J. Clukey, 77, husband of Violet (Goulette) Clukey, who died Monday morning, Aug. 8, at the E. M. G. Hospital, Bangor. The Rev. J. Anctil officiated. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. Clukey was born in Corinna, March 20, 1883, the son of Nazier and Locarde (Belanger) Clukey and had lived in the Dexter area all of his life. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the Dexter woolen mills and was a former member of the Dexter Police Force. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, the Assumption Society and Cardinal Mercier Council, K. of C. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Clatus and Loren both of Dexter; five daughters Mrs. Adrienne Ambrose, Mrs. Laurette Nadeau, Mrs. Lunatte Robichaud, Mrs. Faustine Lessard and Mrs. Leatrice Poirier, all of Dexter; 27 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
