Obituary	BLAINE A. WILLIAMS Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, July 30, at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter for Blaine A. Williams 34, who died the previous Thursday of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, according to Dr. H. Lewis Taylor county medical examiner. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church officiated. Bearers were: Marvin Williams of Clinton; Herschel Williams of Bangor; Francis Garland, Hermon; Perley and Leonard Williams, Dexter. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Williams was born in Dexter, Jan. 4, 1926, the son of Blaine M. and the late Evelyn Page Williams. He was a graduate of Dexter High School and was discharged from the U. S. Air Force after having been in the service for nearly 17 years. He was employed at the Amos Abbott Company, Dexter. Besides his father, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bernice Garland of Carmel; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Chesley Conley and paternal grandfather, Bina Williams, both of Dexter; several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
