Obituary	MAURICE E. NUTTER Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, at the residence in Ripley for Maurice Eben Nutter, 77, husband of Abbie (Covel) Nutter, who died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at the Plummer Hospital in Dexter, where he had been a patient for several days. The Rev. Walter Wakeman officiated. Interment was in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. Bearers were: Honorary: Everett Pullen, Steve Eddy, Alton Gould, Hadley Hopkins. Regular: Lewis Jose, Roger Jose, John Hopkins, Neal Violette. Mr. Nutter was born in Ripley, June 26, 1883, the son of George and Mary (Jewett) Nutter and had spent his entire life in that town. He was a Golden Sheaf member of Dexter Grange and a member of Plymouth Lodge, I. 0. 0. F. Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Harold Nutter,and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Brawn both of Dexter.
