Obituary	MRS. JESSIE MOWER Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mower, 75, widow of Duane Mower, were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Mrs. Mower died Monday evening at the Cushman Nursing Home after a long illness. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Bearers were four nephews: Otis J. Roberts, Jr., Omar W. Roberts, Otis J. Roberts, 3rd., of Dexter and Harvey Inman of Calais. She was born in Dexter, Nov. 9, 1884, the daughter of Otis 0. Roberts and A. Louise (Hussey) Roberts. A life-long resident of this town, she was graduated from Dexter High School in 1904; was a past noble grand of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge; and a former member of North Dexter Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Althea Gould of Dexter; a son, Donald Mower, Waterbury, Conn., a granddaughter of Waterbury and a grandson of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Kate Inman, Dexter; two brothers, Otis J. Roberts, Sr., Dexter, and Winfield T. Roberts, Belmont Corner, several nieces and nephews.
