Obituary	MRS. LEROY KIMBALL Mrs. Myra Kimball, 59, widow of Leroy Kimball, died Sunday in a Fort Fairfield hospital after a long illness. A former resident of Dexter and Fort Fairfield, Mrs. Kimball had lived in Orono for the past few years where she taught school until failing health made it impossible for her to continue. Funeral services were held at the Dorsey Funeral Home in Fort Fairfield Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. John W. Vandergroef, pastor of the United Parish Church, officiated. Bearers were: Dr. Lawrence E. Kelley, Dexter; Richard Talbot, Orono; Paul Guiou and Fred Kilburn, Ft. Fairfield. Burial was in the family lot in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5, at 5 p. m., at the Church of Universal Fellowship, Orono. The Rev. Herbert R. Houghton, pastor, will officiate. Mrs. Kimball was born in Cherryfield, Feb. 29, 1901, the daughter of James W. and Rosina (Stevens) Davis. She was graduated from Presque Isle High, School in 1917, the Aroostook State Normal School in 1919, and the U. of M. in 1955. She had taught school in Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Dexter and Orono. Prior to Mr. Kimball's death a number of years ago and for some time following, the family owned and occupied what is known as the Dunham farm in the No. 10 District of Dexter. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star, a member of Alpha Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma, honorary society for teachers; Rebekah Lodge of Aroostook, Orono Women's Club, National Congress of Parent Teachers Club, Maine Teachers' Association, and Universalist of Orono. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rosina Davis, Presque Isle; a son, James G. Kimball, Bridgeport, Conn., a daughter, Miss Ann C. Kimball, who will graduate this month from Colby College, Waterville; a brother, Sylvanus Davis, Presque Isle; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Sproul of Alexander, Va., and three grandchildren.
