Obituary	ALICE N. ATKINS Alice Nutter Atkins, 72, widow of Albert N. Atkins of Corinna died Friday at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. Born December 3, 1887 at Dexter, she was the daughter of Hiram and Dora Amelia (Jewett) Nutter. After attending schools in Concord and Bedford, Mass., she taught in the Livermore and Corinna schools. Mrs. Atkins was a member of the Corinna Twilight Grange, Corinne Chapter, OES, and the Happy Hour Club. Surviving are two brothers, Fred Nutter of Corinna and Ralph Nutter of Farmington; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Mitchell of North Berwick, Mrs. Iva Hodgkins of Portland and Mrs. Jennie Peacork of Winthrop; two nieces, Marian Erving of Corinna and Mrs. Hezel Meserve of South Portland; one aunt, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Corinna Methodist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Irvin Koelker, officiating. The bearers were Earl Ordway, Kenneth Ordway, Roland Pomroy and Harold Davis.
