Obituary	EDWARD P. MOUNTAIN A Requiem High Mass was held this morning (Thursday) at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, for Edward P. Mountain, 78, who died early Tuesday morning at the Plummer Hospital after a long illness. The Rev. J. P. Sevigny officiated. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Bearers were all nephews, Louis, Freeman and Eugene Mountain, all of Dexter, Urban Mountain, of Dover-Foxcroft, and Paul Mountain of Connecticut. Mr. Mountain was born in Dexter, Sept. 4, 1881, the son of Peter and Mary (Poulin) Mountain; and was a life long resident of this town. For over 50 years he was employed and in businessman on Dexter's Main st. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He is survived by two sons, Frederick V. and Bernard E., both of Dexter; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Daigle of Arcadia, Calif., a foster daughter, Mrs. Nellie Clukey of Dexter; two brothers, Joseph P. and Henry, both of Dexter; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
