Obituary	MRS. ADA B. WHIDDEN Mrs. Ada Blethen Whidden, 87, died Feb. 18 at her home at Atkinson after a long illness. She was the aunt of Mrs. Nora Fanjoy and Mrs. Ada Murdock of Dexter. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Lary Funeral Home at Dover-Foxcroft with the Rev. John W. Meisner officiating. Bearers were Dana Whidden, Arthur Parker of Atkinson, Reginald Call of Brownville Jct., Charles Tetreault, and Jack Murdock Sr., and Jack Murdock, Jr., both of Dexter. Born in Dover-Foxcroft July 4, 1872, Mrs. Whidden was the daughter of James and Hannah (Hall) Blethen. She was a member of the Atkinson Comer Grange and of the W. S. C. S. of the Atkinson Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Fred V. Whidden; one sister, Effie Holt of Etna; two nephews, Dana Whidden, of Old Town, and George Blethen of Bryant Pond; and three nieces, Mrs. Fanjoy and Mrs. Murdock of Dexter, and Mrs. Leila Tetreault of South Portland; and three grandnieces and seven grandnephews.
