Obituary	IVAN R. FARRAR Funeral services for Ivan R. Farrar, 70, who died Monday at his home on Grove street, after a long period of failing health, were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Herman Grove of the Methodist Church, officiated. Burial will take place this spring in the West Ripley Cemetery. He was born at Ripley, Feb. 1, 1890, the son of Edward W. and Abbie (Raymond) Farrar. Mr. Farrar was a painter by trade, and came to Dexter 26 years ago to make his home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise (Simpson) Farrar; three sons, Wayne of Schenectady, N. Y., Vernal of Long Beach, Calif., and Ivan, Jr., of Omak, Wash., two daughters, Mrs. Lula Gould of Boxford, Mass., and Mrs. Bertha Sawyer of Cambridge, Me., one brother F. Raymond Farrar of Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. Vesta Wakefield and Mrs. Lina Butler, both of Ripley; 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
