Obituary	ROLLINS M. CHAPMAN Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, for Rollins M. Chapman, 56, husband of Laura (Bryant) Chapman, who died Tuesday, Nov. 24, in a Boston hospital. The Rev. Herman Grove of the Methodist Church officiated. Interment was at Ferndale Cemetery Ripley. Mr. Chapman was born at Pasadena, Calif., June 4, 1903, son of Eldin and Cora (Mathews) Chapman. His family moved to Damariscotta where he attended school, graduating from Lincoln Academy in 1920 and at the age of 21 he moved to St. Albans. He was a former employee at the Hartland Tannery and at the Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna; but for the past 11 years he had made his home in Ripley and engaged in farming. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, Arthur Chapman of Dexter and Edward Chapman of Ripley; one daughter Mrs. Mary Sevey of Ripley; and two grandchildren.
