Obituary
HORACE POULIN A funeral mass was celebrated Monday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Horace Poulin, 90, who died Friday at his home on the Charleston road after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Samuel Dugan of St. Agnes Church, Pittsfield, officiated. Bearers were: sons-in-law, Joseph Deag, Fred Swan, George Willard, Robert Bennett, all of Methuen, Mass., and Vincent Farrell. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Mr. Poulin was born July 12, 1879, in St. Victor, P. Q., the son of Belonie and Marie (Belanger) Poulin. He had been a resident of Dexter for 53 years. He was a painter and paperhanger by trade, but many years ago he was employed for a time at Fay & Scott and the local mills. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alphonsine (Giguere) Poulin; three sons, Mathias of Randolph AFB., Texas, Patrick of Dexter and Wilfred of Coventry, R. I. 11 daughters, Mrs. Mary Webb, Lower Hainesville, N. B., Mrs. Adrienne Ball, Mt. Healthy, Ohio, Mrs. Geraldine Beaulieu, West Warwick, R. I., Mrs. Elizabeth Dorman, Methuen, Mass., Mrs. Loretta Farrell, Quincy, Mass., Mrs. Marion Deag, Mrs. Yvonne Willard, Mrs. Edith Garrison, Mrs. Alberta Bennett, Mrs. Antoinette Hambrecht and Mrs. Jeanette Swan, all of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Audet, St. Ephrem, P. Q., Mrs. Anna Begin, Granby, P. Q., and a brother, Ephrem, of St. Ephrem, P. Q. Also, 43 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Members of the family here for the service from out of town were: Mrs. Mary Webb of Lower Hainesville, N. B., who has been helping care for her father during the past week; her daughter, Lorraine Gilbert; Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Farrell, Quincy, Mass., Wilfred Poulin, Coventry, R. I., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beaulieu, W. Warwick, R. I., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beaulieu, W. Warwick, R. I., Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dorman, Methuen, Mass., Ephrem Poulin, Mrs. Emile Audet, Paul Audet, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Audet, all of St. Ephrem, P. Q.
