Obituary	ERNEST WOODSIDE Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Dexter Methodist Church for Ernest Woodside, 77, who died suddenly Friday evening at his home in North Dexter. The Rev. Herman Grove officiated. Bearers were: Ivey Harris of Fairfield; Norman Cain, Portsmouth, N. H., Willard Starbird, Sangerville; Abner, Eugene and John Starbird, all of Dexter. Mr. Woodside was born October 3, 1882 in Malpeck, Prince Edward Island, Canada. He came to Maine in 1910. He was a blacksmith by trade, but lumbering was his preferred occupation and he was still active in woods work at the time of his death. He was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Woodside would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Elsie (Dyment) Woodside; a daughter, Mrs. Gardys Starbird, and two granddaughters, Carol and Shelley Starbird, all of North Dexter. Out-of-town relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Norman Cain, and William Cain, Portsmouth, N. H., Mrs. Thomas Silliker, Wilson and Willard Silliker, Newton, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Ivey Harris, Fairfield; Mr. and Mrs. Beecher Woodside, Castleton, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Woodside, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Woodside and Leon Woodside, O'Leary, P. E. I., Canada.
