Obituary
EVERETT ROY AUSTIN Everett Roy Austin, 70, died unexpectedly at the store of Dora Robinson in Exeter, Wednesday afternoon, where he had been employed for some time. Funeral services will be held at the Exeter Masonic Hall, at 2 p. m., Friday. Friends may call at the Hall Friday morning. Burial will be in the family lot in Exeter Center Cemetery. He was born in Exeter, Dec. 24, 1888, the son of Fred and Ella Smith Austin. He attended the Exeter schools and was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield. He had taught schools in a number of towns in Maine, was a carpenter, and had managed a general store, owned by Clyde Smith, in Exeter. He also had been employed at the Fayscott Company, Dexter. He was a representative to the State Legislature in 1935. He was a past master of the Pacific Masonic Lodge of Exeter and a member of I. 0. 0. F., East Corinth. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by one brother, Harry Austin, Exeter; a half brother, Arthur Austin, Parkman; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Clifford, Dexter; one cousin, Harry Merrill, of Dexter; several nieces and nephews.
