Obituary	THOMAS J. GROLEAU A Requiem High Mass was sung at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter Saturday morning for Thomas Joseph Groleau, 83, who died Thursday morning at his home on Grove st. after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Charles Eugene Michaud officiated. Bearers were: Dennis Ainaire of Bangor, Phillip Pooler, Arthur Ronco, and Arthur Ambrose, all of Dexter. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Mr. Groleau was born September 12, 1875, in St. Victor, P. Q, son of Sevare and Lucy (Belanger) Groleau. He came to Dexter when a boy and had been a resident of this town for nearly 70 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for nearly 50 years as a spinner at the Amos Abbott Company. Mr. Groleau was a faithful member of St. Anne's Church, for some 50 years he sang in the choir and was a soloist. He was a member of Cardinal Mercier Council, K. of C. Besides his widow, Mrs. Rose (Higgins) Groleau, he is survived by two sons, Donald of Schenectady, N. Y., and Herbert of Dexter; a daughter, Miss Mary Groleau of Dexter; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Ainaire and Mrs. Eliza Ronco, both of Dexter; nieces and nephews.
