Obituary	STEPHEN DOUGLAS PARKMAN Stephen Douglas Parkman, 9 years old, died Wednesday morning at the Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D. C., where he underwent surgery on March 7. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Friday at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman will officiate and interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born in Dexter, May 17, 1950 the son of Mrs. Donald Thatcher of Dexter and Capt. Edward L. Parkman now stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Stephen was a second grade pupil at Pleasant St. School, a member of the First Baptist Church Sunday School, and a member of Den 1 of Cub Pack 75. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Michael J. Parkman; a sister, Suzanne L. Parkman; a half-sister, Sally Anne Thatcher; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Quimby; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Parkman; and his step-father, Donald Thatcher, all of Dexter.
