Obituary	FRANCIS A. CHANDLER Funeral services were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Crosby Funeral Home for Francis A. Chandler, 62, of West Garland who died Tuesday morning at the Plummer Hospital after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. The remains were entombed to await spring burial. He was born in Norway, March 10, 1897, son of Walter S. and Abbie (Adams) Chandler. He was employed by the Fayscott Corp., of Dexter for 17 years, leaving three years ago because of ill health. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Chandler of W. Garland; his stepmother, Mrs. Sybil Chandler of Reading, N. J., currently of W. Garland; a son, Robert, of North Jay; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Briggs and Mrs. Dorothy Dowdy of Brooklyn, N. Y., four brothers, Harold of Newport News, Va., Theodore of Cumberland, John of Reading, N. J., and Milford of Boston, Mass., a grandson, several nieces and nephews.
