Obituary	MRS. FRED STAPLES Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Leonia Staples, 58, wife of Fred Staples, who died Sunday at her home on Railroad ave., after a long illness. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. The remains were entombed and burial will take place this spring at Mt. Pleasant, Cemetery. Mrs. Staples was born February 8, 1901, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Perkins. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended the Dexter Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, Stanley Perkins, of Lincoln and one niece.
