MRS. VELMA H. RICHARDSON Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Velma H. Richardson, 67, widow of Charles T. Richardson, who died Feb. 25 at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. Elder R. H. Clausen of the Bangor Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiated. The remains were placed in the funeral home vault and burial will take place this spring in the South Sangerville cemetery. Mrs. Richardson was born in Washburn, April 23, 1891, daughter of George and Hattie (Greenleaf) Easler. She had been a resident of Sangerville and Dexter for some 30 years. She was a member of the Bangor Seventh Day Adventist Church. The survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Stevens of North Dexter and Mrs. Fern Cray of Palmyra; two sons, George R. Richardson of New York City and Lincoln C. Richardson of Dexter; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Flewelling of Skowhegan, Mrs. Fae Currie of South Lancaster, Mass., and Mrs. Susie Cronk of Wiscasset; four brothers, Freeman Easler of Dexter, Guy Easler of Bangor, Lawrence Easler of Hinckley and Leon Easler of Guilford; nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
