Obituary	MRS. CHARLES S. BREWSTER Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Gladys A. Brewster, 68, wife of Charles S. Brewster, who died Friday morning at the Plummer Hospital, Dexter, after a long illness. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. The remains are in the funeral home vault to await spring burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mrs. Brewster was born in Dexter, July 5, 1890, daughter of Edwin and Louisa (Ratcliffe) Ayer. She was educated in the Dexter schools, graduating from Dexter High School in the Class of 1908. She was a member of Rebecca Weston Chapt., Daughters of the American Revolution. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, William of Pittsfield, Wendell of Bethel and Gerald of Hallowell; a daughter, Miss Margaret Brewster of Dexter; two brothers, Glen C. Ayer and Willis B. Ayer, both of Dexter; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
