Obituary
MRS. LENA CONWAY A Requiem High Mass was celebrated this morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Mrs. Lena Conway, 67, who died Monday evening at the Plummer Hospital after a long illness. The Rev. Charles E. Michaud officiated. The remains were placed in the funeral home vault to await spring burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Bearers were: Romeo Vigue, Bernard Morancie, Melvin Clukey, Cyril Pooler, Philip Pooler and Dennis Cleaves. She was born in Dexter, March 31, 1891, the daughter of John and Virginia (Cloutier) Poulin. A life- long resident of this town, she was employed for 40 years in the spool room of the Amos Abbott Mill. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, the Sodality, V. F. W. Auxiliary and Dexter Grange. Surviving are two sons, Francis of Dexter and Joseph Donald of the U. S. Army; two daughters, Mrs. Zelma Clark of Saco and Mrs. Marjorie Carder of Portsmouth, N. H., two sisters, Mrs. Emma Morancie of Dexter and Mrs. Elizabeth Delaware of Biddeford; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
