Obituary	New Year's Baby Dies, 7 Days Old Tammy Marie Craig, seven days old, died at noon last Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Plummer Memorial Hospital in Dexter. She was born Jan. 2, 1959, at the hospital. The Craig child was the first baby born in this area in 1959. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Craig of Dexter, had generously refused to enter the first baby contest and let the second baby of the year. Sheila Marie Wilson, get the prizes. The Craigs had said they had everything for their baby, she being their first child, while Sheila Marie was the sixth child of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Wilson of Stetson. The body is entombed at the Crosby Funeral Home tomb and prayers will be said this spring at the burial out of town. Survivors, besides the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Craig, include paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Craig of Dexter; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Hamel of Bangor, and uncles and aunts and nieces and nephews.
